The Bolt Action lock has been around for some time, and has been used by many manufacturers over the years. The most famous example of the Bolt-Action lock is probably the Spyderco Sage 3, which sort of popularized the lock. It is also one of the most refined examples of the lock if you do not count the Sog Piston Lock with Arc Actuator, which is a variation of the Bolt Action Lock.
