CPM S60V (also called 440V) is a stainless tool steel that has exceptional wear resistance. This wear resistance also makes it difficult to machine and grind. CPM S60V has a fairly high Vanadium content as well.

It is not often seen in custom knives, and even in production knives S60V is rarely found. Some examples of companies using S60V include Boker and Kershaw.
